Protests continue in Tirana as crowd marches toward Zogu i Zi and sets up barricades

The situation between protesters and law enforcement has shifted, as the group of young people has left the city center and headed toward Tirana’s main roads in and out of the city.

The march is continuing along the Ring Road toward the Zogu i Zi intersection, while protesters are being monitored by State Police officers and Special Operations Forces.

To block or slow the movement of armored vehicles and police vans, protesters have begun placing barriers and makeshift barricades along the road using whatever materials are at hand.
