Among other things, Toçi called for the government to step down as soon as possible.
“We are more than 300 Albanians from London. From Shkodra we will come toward Tirana. I have been working in Great Britain for 13 years, and we have protested every weekend in front of the Embassy in London. This is a protest for a better future, this government has failed.
It is a protest because the diaspora and Albanians have extraordinary dissatisfaction, we are here to return Albania to Albanians. I regret the conflict, anything can happen, but this is the responsibility of the government.
The government must respond.
We will always be active, tomorrow we will have a protest in London, the other group is there. This is a magnificent protest, unlike the PD and PS where people have been bloodied, we have not broken a single window. We must be united, the time of parties is over, it is the time of Albanians.”
