Four Albanians from Kosovo were attacked by several people in Trieste, Italy, who were armed with knives, hammers, and pepper spray. The four workers from Kosovo were injured in the violent clash, while one of them is in serious condition, Italian media report.

The incident occurred after a car chase. The vehicle carrying the four workers was chased and rammed until it stopped.
After getting out of the vehicle, the attackers assaulted the workers inside with knives, hammers, and pepper spray.
Several ambulances and emergency medical vehicles, supported by patrols from the State Police’s flying squad, quickly responded to the scene. The injured were taken to the hospital in Cattinara.
The cause of the attack is still unknown. Police investigators believe the attack may have been linked to construction contracts.
They are searching for the attackers, most likely five, whose identities are unknown.
