Halil Geci reacted with a public post regarding the idea of dividing Kosovo, which he describes as “drawing borders with a knife over maps.”
He says that, for a large portion of citizens, this issue has never been closed and is still seen as a grave threat to the country. According to Geci, Kosovo does not belong to anyone to divide, fragment or use as an object of political bargaining.

NEVER FORGET! LISTEN TO THIS PAINFUL REALITY ABOUT THE IDEA OF “KNIVES OVER MAPS.”
Listen to this painful reality.
For many citizens, the idea of an agreement to divide Kosovo, described as “drawing borders with a knife over maps,” has never been closed. They believe this idea continues to be present and that it has also had support from certain political circles.
For those who see it this way, this is not politics, but betrayal of the homeland. Kosovo is not anyone’s property to be divided, fragmented or turned into an object of political bargaining.
History must not be forgotten. The people have the right to know, to remember and to judge. Silence in the face of issues that affect the country’s future is not a solution.
The homeland is not for sale, you scoundrels. The homeland is defended!
Come to your senses and think carefully. Tomorrow, history will write about this idea and about each person’s actions. The burden of wrong decisions will not remain only on you, but may also weigh on the generations to come, on your children.
History does not forget, and responsibility before the homeland does not fade with the passage of time.
