The discussion focused on deepening cooperation between the Office of the Chief State Prosecutor and UNDP, particularly within the framework of joint projects to combat corruption and strengthen the rule of law in the Republic of Kosovo.
During the meeting, Gashi underscored the importance of swiftly operationalizing the platform for intelligence-led criminal investigations. Supported by UNDP, the platform is expected to serve as an important tool for financial investigations by analyzing discrepancies in assets and creating evidence-based data, with the aim of pursuing cases of corruption, money laundering and organized crime more effectively.
Gashi and Queiros agreed to continue their close cooperation in the future in areas of mutual interest.
