After four days of uninterrupted efforts involving personnel and equipment on the ground and from the air, the fire has reignited above the Abazaj neighborhood, near the area known as “Kroi i Madh.”

Although the blaze had on several occasions been deemed extinguished, the thick layer of humus allowed embers to remain alight beneath the surface.
The wind helped spread the hidden pockets of fire, which have once again burst into flames. Teams on the ground are continuing efforts to contain and extinguish the fire.
