Minister of Culture and Tourism Saranda Bogujevci said that the restoration of Kosovo’s National Theater is progressing at a fast pace, while the investment in the project amounts to more than seven million euros.

Bogujevci announced in a post that during the day she visited the premises of Kosovo’s National Theater together with the team responsible for managing the contract and professors from the University of Pristina, who have been engaged in preparing the project and supervising the work.
According to her, the interventions are intended to be carried out professionally and in accordance with conservation standards, so that the historic identity of the building is preserved.
“We are investing more than seven million euros in a National Theater with dignified conditions for artists, staff and the theater-going public, without losing the historic character of the building,” Bogujevci wrote.
The project envisages improving working conditions for artists and staff, as well as creating a more suitable environment for the public, while also protecting the historic values of this cultural institution.
