Berisha accused Prime Minister Edi Rama of using police violence against the protesters. According to him, more than 2,000 young people, high school students, university students and minors have been assaulted, detained or arrested during the protests.
He described the situation as a return to the “Red Terror” and said that the protest by lecturers and professors in support of the students had thwarted the government’s attempt to intimidate them.
In his message, the DP leader addressed citizens of every political persuasion, urging them to overcome their fear and join the young people. According to Berisha, the students are fighting not only for their own future, but also for the future of Albania.
“The students, high school students and young people have risen like a phoenix from the ashes. They are doing their duty. Now it is your turn,” Berisha said.
He concluded the message by inviting citizens to come out tomorrow at 10:00, outside the university, and join the students: “Everyone with the young people, everyone with them tomorrow at 10:00 outside the university, until victory.”

This message is addressed to all Albanians. For a week, Tirana has been experiencing the Red Terror, unknown in Albania since the dark days of the communist regime. For a week, Albanian children, minors, high school students and university students have been facing barbaric violence from groups of narco-criminals in uniform.
More than 2,000 girls and boys, high school students, minors and university students have been brutally assaulted, detained or arrested during this week, filling the country’s detention facilities, from the infamous Burrel prison to the prison in Berat.
We have seen acts of self-defense by the students and an extremely disproportionate response: rubber batons breaking their young bones, poisonous gas rising like a black cloud over Tirana and suffocating students, homes and their residents every day. Rubber bullets have been fired in volleys and without mercy, in complete violation of the law, at students, journalists and citizens, splitting their skulls.
To save himself, Edi Rama unveiled yesterday the criminal platform of the Red Terror. It relies on mercenaries, serial killers paid 2,500 euros, mercenaries and serial killers brought in from abroad, and the tools of terror technology. But today’s protest by thousands of university assistants, lecturers and professors, who came out in support of their students, overturned Edi Rama’s platform of Red Terror.
What we are witnessing is the deserved end of Edvin Kristaq Xhelati.
After making Albanians’ lives miserable for 13 years through the colossal theft of public funds and assets, arrogance, contempt, crime, drugs, blocking political rotation and electoral farces, Edi Rama has decided to inflict heavy costs on Albania until the very end.
He seeks to protect himself, his crimes and his money at any cost. Nevertheless, the heroic students and young people are not backing down. Together with their lecturers, they once again came out today into the میدان of battle and destroyed Edvin Kristaq Koleka’s platform of Red Terror.
Every Albanian citizen must understand that they have a responsibility today.
Citizens of every political persuasion, as well as those without a party, must not forget that for 13 years they have raised their voices and urged young people to oppose the evil that has engulfed the country. They have asked them to take their fate into their own hands. The students, high school students and young people have risen like a phoenix from the ashes.
They are doing their duty. Now it is your turn.
The majority of Albanians, who for a week have supported the students silently and with all their hearts, must overcome their fear and come out with them into the میدان of battle. Today, the students are the light of hope for Albania. Therefore, I urge all citizens to listen in their consciences to the most sublime call a person can feel: the call of the young people and the nation.
Every day without Edi Rama’s resignation costs Albania more, but every day that you do not join the students prolongs Rama’s inevitable end.
Come out today alongside the young people, from whom Edi Rama has stolen everything, but who have still not surrendered and want to build Albania according to their youthful dreams. They still hope to make Albania succeed. They are fighting for their future and for you. Let us not leave them alone in the battle of all Albanians. Everyone with the young people, everyone with them tomorrow at 10:00 outside the university, until victory.
May God bless you!
