Citizens have gathered in Skënderbej Square as the protest against the government and Prime Minister Edi Rama enters its 96th day.

After gathering in the square, the protesters are expected to march toward the Prime Minister’s Office.
Students also took part in the previous day’s rally, carrying banners with the messages “Join us, students, the nation is calling” and “The students are here.” Their presence was greeted with chants of “Without the younger generation, there is no Albania.”
The protesters are focusing their attention on September 7, when the action is expected to mark its 100th day.
Based on the warnings issued during Wednesday’s protest, the aim for that day is to organize an even broader mobilization. The protesters have stated that they will try to surround the entire Prime Minister’s Office building.
