Dosti Accuses PDK and AAK: They Used the War to Gain Power and Are Now Obstructing Kosovo’s Institutions

Publicist Adriatik Riza Dosti has reacted to the latest political situation in Kosovo, leveling harsh accusations against the Democratic Party of Kosovo (PDK), the Alliance for the Future of Kosovo (AAK), and their leaders.

According to Dosti, these political forces and their figures have remained in power for years and benefited at the expense of Kosovo and its citizens in the name of the war, the Kosovo Liberation Army, and its flag. He describes Kosovo as the poorest country in Europe.

He claims that the former rulers now drive luxury cars, live in Marigona Hills and large villas, and have become business owners, even co-owners with Serbian businessmen.

Dosti writes that PDK, AAK, Bedri Hamza, Ramush Haradinaj, and their supporters do not accept the election result and cannot envision themselves in opposition because, according to him, they have grown accustomed to remaining in power continuously and know what consequences await them once they leave office.

The publicist accuses these parties of exhausting and obstructing Kosovo by sabotaging political processes and taking the country from one election to another. According to him, they are not interested in solutions but in chaos and repeated elections, even though they know they have lost.

He also mentions MP Lushtaku, whom he calls a “bandit,” claiming that glasses have been smashed over political opponents’ heads and that they have even received death threats.

In his reaction, Dosti cites opposition statements that they have no problem with the Serb List, but rather with the Vetëvendosje Movement and Albin Kurti. He claims that some of them have said it is easier and better to reach an understanding with the Serb List and Radoičić than with LVV and Kurti.

Another criticism concerns the Specialist Chambers. Dosti says the same politicians established and voted for this court, while today they complain that it is causing them problems.

He also revisits claims about agreements to divide Kosovo’s territory, saying that Hashim Thaçi and Baton Haxhiu, together with Vučić, Macron, and Edi Rama, once engaged in dirty bargaining over the issue.

Dosti accuses Ramush Haradinaj of having given Kosovo’s land and territory to Montenegro.

His reaction also includes MPs Gania, Bytyci, Çitaku, and Timja, whom he describes in insulting terms and claims that, under instructions from Bedri Hamza and Ramush Haradinaj, they have assumed the role of a “rebel group” in the Assembly.

According to Dosti, they have caused clashes in parliament by throwing eggs and paper balls, engaging in physical altercations, and even making threats of war.

The publicist also criticizes PDK and AAK over their positions toward the Serb List and Radoičić, claiming that some of them have expressed greater willingness to reach an understanding with these entities than with Vetëvendosje and Kurti.

He accuses these forces of remaining silent about the terrorist attack in Banjska, while recently, according to him, they have also failed to take a position on the Ibër Bridge and the Deçan Monastery, for which the government and the state of Kosovo have assumed responsibility.

Dosti claims there has also been no reaction to public threats against Kosovo by senior Serbian officials, naming Aleksandar Vučić, Ivica Dačić, Gjurić, and Minister Paunović, whom he describes as a fascist.

He also criticizes Albanian Prime Minister Edi Rama, accusing him of consistently taking positions against Kosovo and in favor of Serbia.

Dosti further says that the opposition has taken no position on Aleksandar Vučić’s threats concerning the diversion of the Ibër River, which he considers a serious planned crime.

In conclusion, he claims that PDK and AAK are obstructing the constitution of parliament, the formation of the government, and the election of the president, thereby blocking Kosovo’s progress.

According to him, this is not happening by chance but is connected to the fact that these politicians, as he claims, bear responsibility for the damage caused to the country and must be held accountable before Kosovo and its citizens.

Dosti also emphasizes that citizens should not think Bedri Hamza, Ramush Haradinaj, Timja, or Gania are acting out of concern for them.
