A large forest fire has broken out in southern Turkey, in the province of Antalya, spreading rapidly due to strong winds sweeping through the area.
The fire broke out in the Kas district, and authorities have mobilized a large-scale operation involving air and ground interventions to curb the fire’s advance.

As Turkish media report, 6 helicopters, 3 specialized firefighting aircraft, 14 fire engines, 5 water tankers, 2 rapid intervention units, and a team of 135 forestry service workers have been deployed to the firefighting front.
Despite the massive efforts to contain the flames, the wind remains a key factor hindering the operation and fueling the fire’s expansion. The deployed forces are on full alert, continuing work to bring the situation under control.
