The Embassy noted that upholding the rule of law means ensuring fair and transparent processes, giving affected individuals the full opportunity to exercise their legal rights.
A key point of the concern raised is the information that enforcement measures were undertaken at a time when courts have not yet issued a final ruling.
Furthermore, the diplomatic mission reiterated the need for legal norms to be applied without distinction and impartially in every corner of Kosovo’s territory.
In its response, it called on Kosovo’s institutions to initiate an open dialogue with the affected population, address their concerns transparently, and avoid any actions that could undermine citizens’ trust in the law, as well as harmony between different social groups.
