The student protest, now in its second consecutive day, has escalated. Young people set fire to the iuteCredit branch on Durrës Street, which they had attacked the previous day, and the flames grew large.
They also threw stones at two other nearby shops.

Today’s protest has been marked throughout by tensions and clashes between students and police officers.

The young people again tore down the railings and attacked the Ministry of Education, entering the first floor and starting a fire.
Meanwhile, police repeatedly targeted the young people with tear gas and water.
