By order of the Director General of the State Police, a special working group was established to examine the officers’ actions throughout the entire gathering and determine whether standard operating procedures were followed. According to the police, any officer who violated the rules or exceeded their powers will be held accountable.

The investigation into the case has also been launched by the Police Oversight Agency, in cooperation with the Prosecution Office.

The State Police condemned the violence, damage and burning of property reported during the protest, saying that such acts do not represent the peaceful exercise of the right to protest.

Masked individuals and those involved in violent actions have been urged to stop immediately, while citizens have been asked to stay away from them in order to ensure their safety.
