Victim of fatal accident in Junik identified

A traffic accident that occurred on Saturday afternoon in the village of Jasiq, Junik, claimed one person’s life.

The victim was Shkëlqim Alaj, a resident of Drenoc in Voksh, sources said.

According to confirmation from Driton Rugova, spokesperson for the Kosovo Police in the Peja region, the incident was recorded at around 1:40 p.m. A quad bike was involved in the accident.

“The quad bike driver died at the scene. The medical team confirmed his death,” Rugova said.
