The investment aims to support the significant growth in the number of flights and passengers, improving the efficiency of ground operations and, above all, the passenger experience during their journey through the airport.
The new vehicles include modern passenger stairs, equipment for loading and unloading baggage from aircraft, tow tractors for transporting baggage carts, aircraft pushback vehicles, and baggage conveyors.

The investment also includes GPU units to supply aircraft with electricity while on the ground, Airstarters for starting aircraft engines, vehicles for aircraft cleaning services, and a de-icing vehicle for the winter season, further enhancing the capacity for safe operations throughout the year.

Through this investment, Tirana International Airport aims to enable faster and more efficient aircraft turnaround processes, from baggage handling to passenger boarding and disembarkation.

Improving these processes directly contributes to the quality of service provided to partner airlines and to creating a better experience for every passenger traveling through TIA.

Investments in equipment, infrastructure, and operational capacity are part of the ongoing commitment of Tirana International Airport and the Kastrati Group to support traffic growth and provide an increasingly efficient, safe, and high-quality airport experience.
