The Director General of the Kosovo Correctional Service, Ismail Dibrani, held a meeting with representatives of the Council of Europe Office in Pristina, headed by its chief, Mary Ann Hennessey.

The discussion focused on joint cooperation and the advancement of Kosovo’s correctional system.
Dibrani said that this cooperation, developed over the years, has helped strengthen professional capacities, rehabilitation and reintegration processes, as well as the implementation of human rights.
“Meetings such as this are important for assessing the progress achieved and determining the next steps toward higher European standards,” he said.
The head of the Correctional Service thanked the Council of Europe for its continuous support and expertise.
“We remain committed to building a modern, professional correctional system based on human dignity,” Dibrani said.
