Although roads and homes were covered with water and mud, the couple decided to go ahead with the wedding. Their marriage vows were exchanged inside a flooded church, while footage of the ceremony was later shared on social media.
Wearing her white dress, the bride made her way to the altar through water that reached her waist. The water was at the same level around the groom, priest, witnesses and photographers who recorded the special moments.
