Iran-US Conflict Escalates: Alarm in Bahrain for Second Consecutive Day, Tehran Claims It Has Struck American Bases

Iran has launched a new series of attacks using missiles and unmanned aerial vehicles against American military positions in the Middle East, in retaliation for previous US strikes inside Iranian territory, further heightening regional tensions.

These strikes come just hours after a new massive American offensive against targets inside southern and central Iran, pushing the confrontation between the two powers into an even more critical and dangerous stage.

Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) forces have reported hitting United States military facilities in Bahrain, emphasizing that the main target was Sheikh Isa Air Base. According to the Fars agency, closely linked to the Iranian government, the objectives included a helicopter repair area, a shelter housing a P-8 Poseidon reconnaissance aircraft, and the command center for the American drone fleet.

The IRGC has warned that their retaliatory actions will continue in the coming days.

Meanwhile, Bahrain’s Ministry of Interior announced that, for the second day in a row, warning sirens have been sounded nationwide and citizens and residents have been urged to seek shelter at the nearest safety points while remaining calm.

There is still no official data on damage or casualties in Bahrain, while the US Central Command (CENTCOM) remains silent regarding Iran’s statements.
