Gjirokastra has taken on a new vibrancy this weekend with the holding of the sixth edition of “GJIROKASTRA ROCKS FESTIVAL,” an event that has now become a special tradition in the artistic life of the stone city.
Artists and rock music groups took to the festival stage, while the weekend concert featured Elita 5, Vedat Ademi, ROOL, and others, drawing young people and tourists with their performances.

“Today we are organizing the 6th edition of Gjirokastra Rocks here in Gjirokastër. It is the continuation of a cultural tradition that we are trying to further consolidate, given that we are engaging only Albanian artists from all regions. This year we have 5 musical groups performing,” said organizer Albert Haloçi.
Singer Gjergj Kaçinari also shared his first emotions at this festival. “It is our first time at Gjirokastra Rocks and it is a very beautiful feeling. I hope we convey all our energy to the people, and I believe it will be a very beautiful night,” he stressed.
During the summer season, cultural and artistic activities are being held in Gjirokastër, attracting the interest of domestic and foreign tourists.
