The Kosovo Judicial Council has selected two new members of the KJC from the ranks of the first-instance courts.
At the central gathering held on Tuesday, following the conclusion of the internal process in the basic courts, two judges were elected to the position of KJC member.

The elected candidates are Valentina Sopjani, who secured 212 votes, and Agron Maxhuni with 204 votes.
Their mandate begins on July 8.
Before the voting process was opened, it was announced that 354 was the number of judges eligible to vote.
Out of this total, 303 judges voted, while another 51 were absent.
Four candidates took part in the race: Agron Maxhuni, Diora Bajrami with 64 votes, Ilir Bytyqi with 84 votes, and Valentina Sopjani.
