Due to a temporary technical problem with Albcontrol’s air traffic monitoring system, flights in Albanian airspace were suspended for a few minutes as a safety measure.
The issue was addressed immediately, and every effort is currently being made to restore operations to normal as quickly as possible.
Tirana International Airport is in continuous contact with all relevant authorities and airlines, while assisting passengers affected by delays and changes to flight schedules.
TIA has deployed the maximum number of available staff to support terminal operations and ensure the situation is managed as quickly as possible. Our teams are on full standby and are doing everything they can to accelerate the return of operations to normal.
Passengers are advised to regularly check announcements and communications from their airlines for the latest information on their flight status.
Passenger safety remains the top priority.
