The Republic of Kosovo and the Kosovo community in Baden-Württemberg have received important institutional news following the change in the status of the diplomatic mission in Stuttgart.

By decree of the Acting President of the Republic of Kosovo, Albulena Haxhiu, the mission has been transformed from the Consulate of the Republic of Kosovo in Stuttgart into the General Consulate of the Republic of Kosovo in Stuttgart.
The elevation of the mission’s status is seen as recognition of the consulate’s work, dedication and achievements in recent years, particularly in serving Kosovo citizens in Baden-Württemberg and beyond.
The Consulate of Kosovo in Stuttgart said the new status would strengthen its role in representing the Republic of Kosovo and providing services to citizens.
According to the mission’s announcement, the decision marks an important institutional moment and demonstrates the work carried out through professional commitment, close cooperation and the dignified representation of the Republic of Kosovo.
The consulate said the new status also brings greater responsibility to continue working with professionalism and dedication in the service of citizens and state interests.
“Thank you for your trust and support!” the announcement concluded.
