Flames engulfed a hotel in the Lungomare area of Vlora, causing panic among the holidaymakers staying there.

A holidaymaker from Kosovo described the frightening moments he experienced during the fire.
“I jumped from the second floor; there were other families who jumped too,” he recounted, describing the situation inside the hotel.
Police and firefighting services arrived at the scene after the flames spread and managed to contain the fire.
As a result of the incident, 7 people were taken to hospital, while 3 of them were sent to Tirana to receive more specialized medical assistance.
The authorities have launched an investigation to clarify the circumstances surrounding the outbreak of the fire.
