Protest outside Parliament, Socialist Party MPs arrive two hours before the session begins

Socialist Party MPs arrived at the Parliament premises around two hours before the start of the plenary session, on a day when a citizens’ protest will also be held in front of Parliament, following protests that have been ongoing for 32 days and demanding the resignation of Prime Minister Rama.

At the same time as the plenary session, citizens are gathering in front of the Parliament building to express their dissatisfaction, while police have cordoned off the area.

Special vehicles have also been deployed on the ground, including a police van and a water tanker, as part of the measures plan to manage the protest.
