PDK Chairman Bedri Hamza and the party’s lawmakers took part in a mass protest organized in Pristina by war veterans’ associations in support of the Kosovo Liberation Army.

Speaking to reporters, Hamza described the Special Court’s conviction as unacceptable, claiming that it was not supported by facts and had a political character. According to him, the protest was not directed against any person, but expressed full support for Hashim Thaçi, Kadri Veseli, Jakup Krasniqi and Rexhep Selimi.
Hamza said that the participants were seeking justice and opposing what they consider to be an injustice in the proceedings conducted at the Hague Court. He said that all necessary democratic steps would be taken, including protests and legal action, while expressing his belief that these measures would be formalized today in the Assembly of the Republic of Kosovo.
