The Hague to deliver verdict on former KLA leaders tomorrow

The Kosovo Specialist Chambers in The Hague is expected to deliver its verdict tomorrow in the trial of former Kosovo Liberation Army leaders Hashim Thaçi, Kadri Veseli, Jakup Krasniqi and Rexhep Selimi.

The verdict comes at the end of a trial that has lasted around six years.

The four KLA leaders face charges of war crimes and crimes against humanity, but have pleaded not guilty to all counts in the indictment.

Meanwhile, officials from the “Freedom Has a Name” platform have announced that a “Night of Anticipation” will be held in The Hague tonight, a peaceful gathering organized ahead of the verdict by the Kosovo Specialist Chambers.
