In a social media post, Prime Minister Edi Rama once again addressed judges’ salaries in Albania, commenting on the recent decision to increase them.

Rama writes that a junior judge in Albania currently earns around 500 euros more per month than a colleague in Greece.
According to the prime minister, under the decision recently adopted, the salary of a junior judge in Albania will be around 2,000 euros higher than that of a judge in Greece and around 3,000 euros higher than the salary of a colleague in Montenegro.
“A junior judge in Albania today receives a salary 500 euros higher than a colleague in Greece, and under the decision adopted, God himself knows, the salary should increase by 2,000 euros more per month than that of the Greek colleague and 3,000 euros more than that of the colleague in Montenegro…” Rama writes, having also published some comparative data.
