Interethnic incidents escalate in Tetovo, “Srbija” written on Albanian man’s car

A car owned by an Albanian man was damaged and the word “Srbija” was written on it. According to a photograph obtained by the newspaper Koha, the vehicle was parked in an ethnically mixed neighborhood in Tetovo, while the act has been described as the lowest form of ethnically motivated incidents.

Such cases have become more frequent recently in Tetovo, with Albanians being targeted by Macedonian hooligans. Two nights ago, several young Albanians were attacked by the “Vojvodas,” supporters of the Tetekst football club. /U.H/koha.mk/
