Police operation in North Macedonia, searches conducted at several addresses and suspects detained

The Ministry of Internal Affairs carried out an overnight operation targeting a suspected case of serious financial crime in North Macedonia, “Fokus” has learned unofficially. Several locations were searched and several suspects were detained as part of the operation.

Preliminary information points to suspected financial abuses in the collection of vehicle registration fees. According to initial estimates, the damage caused exceeds €2 million.
