The verdict against acting Interior Minister Xhelal Sveçla will be announced this Wednesday. He is accused of releasing tear gas in the Assembly of Kosovo.

The hearing is scheduled to take place at the Palace of Justice, starting at 09:00.
Meanwhile, the court has decided that the criminal proceedings against Sveçla will be conducted separately from those against the other defendants involved in the case.
At the previous hearing, Sveçla told the court that he did not consider himself guilty, saying their action was political in nature.
“I do not feel guilty… our act was entirely political, aimed not at obstructing officials in the performance of their duties, but at preventing the gifting or sale of 8,200 hectares of land belonging to the Republic of Kosovo,” he had stated.
