VLEN has responded to DUI’s statements regarding “Hasan Prishtina” Boulevard, accusing the party of spreading uncertainty over a project that, according to VLEN, DUI itself failed to implement. Astrit Iljazi said the project had been unveiled as early as 2021, while in 2023 and 2024, institutions were still reporting that the necessary documentation was being prepared.

According to Iljazi, the State Audit Office had also found that contracts for the implementation of the projects had not been signed for the three boulevards, including “Hasan Prishtina.”
Iljazi stressed that the project has not been scrapped and that construction of the boulevard will proceed. He said the planned design would be retained and that, just like the road section from Momin Potok to “Sloveneçka,” the section through Vizbeg will also be built gradually. According to him, the work will be completed rather than abandoned halfway through, unlike DUI’s approach.
