A fire incident was reported on Friday evening at St. Basil’s Cathedral, the iconic monument located in Moscow’s Red Square. Firefighters responded immediately and managed to bring the situation under control within a short time.
Russia’s state-run news agency TASS reported that the flames affected around 10 square meters on the building’s first floor, specifically a cleric’s office. As a result, personal belongings and furniture were damaged.
