A 50-year-old man said he was forced to pay 30 euros after deciding to leave an escort’s apartment when he realized she did not look like the photographs posted online.

The incident, reported by the Italian newspaper “Il Corriere Adriatico,” involved a 29-year-old woman of South American origin and a 23-year-old man from Ecuador. Both are suspected of collaborating in the robbery.

According to details reconstructed by the authorities, the 50-year-old had communicated with the woman through social networks and online chat rooms. After they agreed on the price and time, he went to her apartment around midday.

Upon arriving, he noticed that the woman’s appearance differed from that in the published photographs. For this reason, he decided not to go ahead with the meeting and to leave without receiving the service.

The woman demanded payment for the inconvenience and the time she claimed to have lost. The 50-year-old refused, insisting that he had been deceived by the images posted online.

A short while later, a 23-year-old man from Ecuador also arrived at the apartment, further escalating the situation.

The victim claims that the young man threatened him with a kitchen utensil and demanded that he give the woman 30 euros, even though the meeting had not continued.

It is suspected that, in order to avoid further escalation, the man handed over the requested amount. Immediately after leaving the apartment, he contacted the Carabinieri and filed a report.

Police went to the address provided, but the 29-year-old woman was no longer there. Meanwhile, the 23-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of having collaborated in the robbery.

During a search of the apartment, the Carabinieri reportedly found dozens of condoms and several thousand euros in cash. Some of this money is suspected of possibly being linked to the escort activity.

Italian media also report that the two suspects had allegedly arrived in Pesaro from the Varese area.

Investigations are continuing to establish all the circumstances of the case and the responsibility of each of the suspects. The allegations remain claims and must be verified by the competent authorities.
