Vetëvendosje Movement MP Artan Abrashi has marked the 13th anniversary of the June 27, 2013 agreement, which he described as one of Kosovo’s biggest political mistakes in the post-war period.
In a reaction published on social media, he said that it was precisely with that agreement that the foundations were laid for the Association of Serb-majority municipalities. Abrashi blamed the governments of the time, saying they accepted and signed a mechanism that, according to him, put the functionality of the state of Kosovo at risk.

Today marks 13 years since one of the gravest political mistakes of the post-war period: the June 27, 2013 agreement, which laid the foundations of the Zajednica.
Those who today sell patriotism yesterday signed the mechanism that endangered the functionality of the state of Kosovo. Serbia wanted the Association on the table as an obligation for Kosovo; the governments of the time accepted it and signed it.
History cannot be erased. Documents do not disappear. Responsibility is not amnestied.
There will not be a second Republika Srpska in Kosovo. Our state is built on the Constitution, sovereignty, and equality of citizens, not on monoethnic associations with powers that undermine the constitutional order.
Memory is the best defense against repeating mistakes.
