Dafina Stojanoska, an MP from VMRO-DPMNE, criticized the VLEN coalition for the support that, according to her, it gave to the Alliance for Albanians candidate in the second round of the local elections in Bit Pazar. She said VLEN should have shown that it had political differences from the DUI.
In an interview with Sitel television, Stojanoska said that this move by VLEN led to the split of votes and served the DUI.

“In my opinion, they played the role of the Trojan Horse, acting in favor of the DUI and splitting the electorate’s votes,” said Stojanoska.
Meanwhile, Arkin Jahiji, the Albanian candidate of the Alliance for Albanians, has declared victory in the Municipality of Bit Pazar. The extraordinary elections were held following the death of candidate Jovica Ilievski.
