Initial suspicions are that the accident began when a driver lost control of a vehicle, which overturned. A Mercedes-Benz braked to avoid hitting it, but the three vehicles then collided in succession.
Road Police arrived at the scene and are managing heavy traffic, while experts are gathering information to document the circumstances. Lushnjë firefighters are clearing debris from the vehicles involved in the accident from the highway.
