“We have completed our part of the preparations for the elections, and I have just fulfilled my duty as a citizen. I expect the citizens, the residents of Tërnoc and of the entire Presheva Valley, to make massive use of their right to vote. This is a democratic right that no one can violate. Participation in elections and fulfilling this duty is a moral, national and political obligation,” Kamberi said.
In Presheva, 1090 citizens had voted by 10:00, accounting for 2.5 percent of the resident population.
OSCE teams were present throughout the day at polling stations in Presheva, where they monitored the process.
