Preshevo Mayor Ardita Sinani has voted and urged citizens to turn out in large numbers for the elections.
According to Sinani, today’s vote is decisive and vital for the Albanians of the Presevo Valley, so she urged citizens not to hesitate and to exercise their right to vote.

“I urge citizens to turn out in large numbers today and vote. This day is decisive and vital for the future of the region, but first and foremost for the Albanians of the Presevo Valley. So don’t hesitate: go out together with all your family members and respond to this day,” Sinani said.
She described the electoral process as a referendum in its own right and repeated her call for widespread participation.
“I think today’s electoral process is a referendum in itself, so turn out in large numbers,” Sinani said.
Elections are being held today in Serbia, where Albanians from the Presevo Valley, Bujanovac and Medvedja are also voting.
