In a social media post, singer Endri Prifti addressed Prime Minister Edi Rama, urging him to relinquish power and accusing him of failing to lead the country.
He spoke about the youth protests, stressing that the young people had not taken to the streets without reason but were seeking better prospects for their future in Albania.

He also highlighted the departure of young people abroad, saying that his own son had left a month earlier because he saw no future here.
Prifti urged Rama to reflect on the students’ demands and consider whether the salaries and conditions offered by the country are enough for the younger generation.
Continuing his message, Prifti said his son had left because there was no future in Albania. He urged the prime minister to listen to the people and make way, saying he was convinced Rama could not succeed with this government and had already failed. According to Prifti, the young people had not taken to the streets without reason because the numbers simply did not add up. The singer suggested that Rama take a pen and do the calculations as if his own son were a student, because the figures do not work. On matters of justice, Prifti said he had been waiting for five years: his house had been sold, yet he had still not received justice. He claimed that everyone was corrupt and said he had called for help.
