During the Ministerial Conference on the Green Agenda for the Western Balkans, held in Montenegro, Minister of Environment and Spatial Planning Fitore Pacolli met with her counterparts from Albania and North Macedonia.
The talks focused on the possibility of turning Sharr Park into a genuine cross-border park, bringing the three countries even closer together.
Pacolli said on Facebook that the initiative aims to combine nature conservation with the economic development of local communities through agrotourism, sustainable tourism and the promotion of Sharr’s natural assets.
According to her, an agreement was reached with Ministers Jaupaj and Hoxha for the next meeting to be held in Kosovo, where discussions will continue and the steps for this initiative will be defined more concretely.
