Members of the Kosovo Security Force conducted live-fire mortar exercises at a military training area in Albania.

Defense Minister Ejup Maqedonci announced today that 60 mm, 81 mm and 120 mm mortars were used in the exercise as part of artillery and indirect-fire training.
The activity was held at the Northern Infantry Regiment’s heavy weapons range, which is part of the Albanian Armed Forces.
In a Facebook post, Maqedonci said that KSF personnel demonstrated a high level of professionalism and discipline during the live-fire exercises and complied with the required standards.
According to the minister, joint training activities are helping to deepen defense cooperation between Kosovo and Albania.
He noted that such exercises help develop artillery capabilities and improve operational skills.
Maqedonci added that these activities also serve to increase interoperability between the forces of the two countries.
