The Democratic Party of Kosovo (PDK) has announced that it will turn to the Constitutional Court today over the latest developments in the Kosovo Assembly and the process of forming the government.

Before appearing before the institution, the PDK has also announced a press conference, at which it will present the case it intends to submit for review.
The political entity has clarified that the request will not relate only to the constitution of the Assembly, but also to the procedure for forming the Kurti 4 government.
One day earlier, on Sunday, the Kosovo Assembly approved the Kurti 4 government during an extraordinary session. The eight deputies of the Serb List voted against it, while the deputies of the PDK, LDK and Alliance were absent from the voting process.
Before the vote on the government, the Assembly’s constitutive session, which had taken place during the morning hours, resumed.
Assembly Speaker Albulena Haxhiu declared that the 11th Legislature had been constituted, even though the post of deputy speaker from the PDK ranks had not been filled.
The PDK did not take part in the continuation of the session, arguing that the laws and the Constitution of Kosovo had been violated during the process.
The next step is expected to be the submission of the PDK’s request to the Constitutional Court, after which it will be assessed how the institution will proceed with it.
