Prime Minister Edi Rama has again reacted to discussions concerning magistrates and the funding of the justice system, following a statement made by a judge about the judiciary’s budget.

On social media, Rama shared a photo featuring the judge’s statement: “We have our own budget purse. We are not taking from anyone else’s purses. In short, we are not being allowed to take from our own purse.”
Commenting on this position, the prime minister wrote: “It is incredible, yet true, that a judge understands independence in this way and views the Albanian state’s budget in this way…”
During this Sunday, Rama also published three other reactions concerning judges’ salaries.
