Field operations are being carried out by around 130 local operational personnel. To support them, the Armed Forces have deployed 90 personnel and two Air Force helicopters.
The active hotspots have been identified in Dajt and Priskë in Tirana, Lufaj in Mirditë, the Tërbun-Gojan area of Pukë, and Shashicë in Selenicë.
In Dajt, the response is being carried out by 50 Armed Forces personnel, 15 Fire Protection and Rescue Service employees, and five employees of the Protected Areas Agency. In Priskë, Fire Protection and Rescue Service units continue to conduct operations. Authorities said there is no danger to homes in either area.
In Lufaj, the flames are spreading at low intensity. The Forestry Service and the Fire Protection and Rescue Service are engaged in the operation, while no threat to residential areas has been reported.
The situation is more difficult in Tërbun-Gojan, where strong winds have helped the fire spread. Operational teams continue to work in the field, with the Fire Protection and Rescue Service focusing particularly on protecting homes. Despite the situation, no direct threat to residential areas had been identified as of 20:00.
In Gurë-Lurë, the fire has been extinguished, but the area continues to be monitored. Meanwhile, in Qafë Helmes, the hotspot has been isolated and local forces are working to bring the situation to a final resolution.
Civil Protection structures and operational teams continue to intervene in all affected areas, prioritizing the protection of residents and homes, as well as the complete isolation of the hotspots that remain active.
