Minister of State for Relations with Parliament Erjona Ismaili has announced her resignation as co-chair of the Socialist Party in Vlora, concluding the process of reorganizing the party structures.

In a statement on social media, Ismaili said that leading the Socialist structure in Vlora for 1 year and 3 months had been both a privilege and a responsibility for her. She emphasized that during this time she had worked to fulfill her duties with dedication, propriety and integrity.
According to her, the decision to step down from the position is intended to enable the democratic process for selecting the new leaders of the Socialist Party in Vlora.
“Today, as part of the final phase of the reorganization of the Socialist Party, I am resigning from my position as co-chair, thereby paving the way for the democratic process of selecting the new leaders of the Socialist Party of Vlora,” Ismaili wrote.
At the end of her message, the minister expressed her gratitude to the members, leaders and collaborators of the Socialist Party in Vlora, thanking them for their support and cooperation during this period. She also praised their contribution to a leadership approach based on responsibility and respect for people.
