The sole speaker at today’s protest described the hearings planned by the Municipality of Divjakë and the administrative units as a farce.
“At this stage, these hearings no longer have any value. They should have been held before the project called for the merger of the Municipality of Divjakë with Lushnjë, since the citizens’ opinion was not taken into consideration,” she declared.
The protest ended with a march through the city’s streets, where calls were made for broader participation. Slogans against the government and Prime Minister Rama were also heard during the gathering.
