According to the ministry, from 2019 to 2026, the suspects repeatedly threatened a 66-year-old man from Gostivar and his 41-year-old son, forcing them to hand over 43 kilograms and 800 grams of processed gold. The value of the gold was unlawfully and arbitrarily calculated by the suspects as raw melted material, rather than as processed products that had a significantly higher market value.

The Ministry of Internal Affairs also announced that, during February 2025, through blackmail and threatening messages sent to the son and his family, the suspects forced the 66-year-old man to sign a preliminary contract for the sale and purchase of real estate. The contents of the document were not read to him by the notary in Gostivar.
