Tensions at the protest in front of Parliament, 8 arrested and 12 others still being held for questioning

Following the tensions recorded on Sunday morning at the protest held in front of Parliament, the number of people arrested has reached 8.

According to reporting by journalist Xhensila Kodra, four people are being held under arrest at Police Station No. 4 in Tirana, including activist Gent Progni, while the other four are being held at Police Station No. 1.

Those arrested and being held at Police Station No. 4 have been identified as Besard Kajmi, Aristotel Elezaj, Gentjan Progni and Durim Bami.

Meanwhile, 12 other people are being held at Police Station No. 3 with the status of being escorted for questioning.
