The trial of nine police officers accused of abuse of office and official authority in connection with the fire at the “Puls” nightclub in Kočani continued today at the Criminal Court in Skopje. During the hearing, Judge Lenka Davitkova ruled on proposals submitted by part of the defense during the evidentiary proceedings.
The prosecution claims that the defendants failed to perform their official duties because they did not conduct a complete and thorough inspection before giving positive approval for the issuance of a license to operate the “Puls” nightclub in Kočani.
